Terms and Conditions

To enhance our coaching services, the following guidelines clarify the terms of engagement for U Coaching.

Coaching sessions and workshops are designed to support the development of actionable plans that lead to positive outcomes, aligned with your personal and/or professional goals and at your own pace. The coach’s role is to serve as a sounding board, creating a reflective space for open dialogue and strategic thinking. Each coaching session is co-created by both the coach and the coachee, using powerful tools, techniques, and deep reflection to uncover insights, new perspectives, and motivation for change. While the coach facilitates this process, it is your responsibility, as the client, to explore your thoughts and emotions and ultimately decide your next steps.

The coach’s role is to provide a safe, supportive and non-judgmental environment where you feel heard and encouraged. Honest and open communication is essential for effective coaching. If there is ever a question, exercise or technique that you are not comfortable with, please communicate this to your coach. Similarly, if at any point during a session you need a break or wish to stop, simply let your coach know.

Clients are encouraged to commit to at least 3-6 sessions to support accountability and maximise the effectiveness of the coaching process. However, this is entirely your decision – you know what will work best for you. Bookings can be made via phone or email. A minimum of two days’ notice is required for cancellations. Missed sessions without prior notice will be subject to a charge. If you need to reschedule, please provide as much advance notice as possible. One-on-one coaching sessions must be paid for within two days of the session, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed upon. Team coaching workshops are payable in phased payments unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Some coaching sessions may be documented with a summary of what was discussed and agreed upon. These notes are stored securely and in compliance with GDPR guidelines, i.e., password-protected and confidential. All coaching conversations are fully confidential, except in circumstances outlined in ICF Ireland’s ethical guidelines which are included in the Coaching Agreement Form.
